Ideas for Raids
Now that we have an, albeit small, OotSK army... why don't we figure out a good raid spot.
One thought is to find somewhere around level 35ish if possible. This way the twenty somethings can stand a chance at getting some xp, Critler can tank everything in sight and the 40 and 50's can still find some LB to anhilliate while keeping an eye on everyone else... or perhaps DJ and I can play Mac and Doko and let Dambro and Critler be the main tankers.
Places that come close to fitting that bill... but also might be rough, would be Mossmouth Caverns, the Froglok temple in Guk, or Mu Lin's Reach (are you feeling crazy?).

Re: Ideas for Raids
I was thinking something very much like this just this morning.
I would definitely be willing to play Macleod in order to be of a similar level to our newer guild members. But I could pull out The D if needed.
Although not specifically "raid" oriented, there are wo things I want to do:
1. Guild quest night. Get most of the guild members at/near a specific quest level and do everyone's quest at once. 33 or 35 might be a good level, since before that the quests are pretty easy (except 27).
2. Sleepless Night of the Sleepless Knights. A literal all-night gaming session. Take us back to our younger and crazier days of staying up all night and sleeping all day. Would obviously require some scheduling and planning beforehand, since SOME of us are old and have other commitments.

Re: Ideas for Raids
Those are definately good choices.
If you are looking at mid-30s, here are a few spots.
- Hexes (not a great raid, but a fun place to prove you can handle at that level)
- Wktaans camp east and north of Blackwater
- Crocs on the way to Wktaans
- Drider camp south and east of Forkwatch (that place is just mean!)
- You might be too high now, but there is a mine on the west side of Spider Mine that is around level 30. Kill trolls!
- Blacktongue orcs that are east/south of Bastable village. There's a nice city of them nearby.
- Runneye throne room!

Re: Ideas for Raids
I forgot one of the best places at that level. The place everyone loves to hate. Tomb of Kings!

Re: Ideas for Raids
I want in, I want in! I wanna raid and play all night, too. I am currently not employed full time and am old enough to be on the flip side of the parenting thing - the "empty nest" - WOOT! It is one of the epic quests of parenthood, and the reward is good! You get major xp and your free time back. Definitely worth the energy - if you can avoid eating them, throwing them to the wolves or just killing them first.

Now that's my kind of parenting!
I'm thinking... not this weekend, but maybe next weekend (9/4-9/5)? Saturday would be a good all-night time, since Fridays I am usually worn out from a week of work, and Sunday would be available for post-binge recovery.
Think enough of us can be in the high-20 to low-30 range by then?
NOTE: Saturday is now no good for me. See below.

Funk dat! Your ass best be working on Dambro. Your bard can participate even if you are the highest level toon there. If you're going to be putting time into the game, you might as well be using it to get closer to that elusive epic...

I shall do my best
I just need more of those wild and crazy nuking groups at Collinridge or a full group with Dokoro!
Also I still need to do all my 17's and any other side quests that are available (16, 20?).
