Revival of My main, and hopefully the Sleepless Knights

I intend to start playing Dambro again in September, alternating between him and the VC.
My current goal with him is to get my Epic, then worry about a MC.

I have spoken with the Prof from the VC, and he has expressed interest in joining us, as has Critler(he may leave the VC and leavel Critler up to his new main).

I would like to ask Disdainful, Finin/Bast, Parr, Jonwonderful and Kazamara(sp?) to join us as well.

Travis has said that he will use Guinness again, but maybe he'd be willing to bring Guinn back to the Knights.

We also have a lot of "dead players" in the guild that can't be removed due to them being Masters.

I think I would like to disband the guild and simply reform it, name the same.

Currently Djarum myself and Guinness are the only active players left, I am unsure of Dragospells status.

So I guess I am speaking to Djarum and Guinness...what do ya think guys?

Guin you been with it from its inception, and Dj you have been invaluable since you arrived...tell me your thoughts.

I do not want to abandon the VC it is too much fun, but I guess an Epic would be nice!

Re: Revival of My main, and hopefully the Sleepless Knights

I really need to start playing The D again, and rediscover the joy of tanking. I've been out of the loop for so long that I'm running the risk of never being able to play again.

I logged my main in once during the last month, to try out the first of the were quests. This was right when they came out, so very little information was available (ie: that they cannot be soloed). So I logged in, got the quest, found the quest guy, died immediately, and now I'm sitting on 10+ million debt. Not very strong motivation to start grinding again, eh?

Anyways, all the higher-level players we know are in The Kindred now. Even Parr joined up with them. Which doesn't really effect me, 'cause everyone I like is in my buddy list.

Disdainful is 59.
Bast is 53.
Finin is 52 and retired.
Parr is level 55.
Jonwonderful is level 60.
Kazmara is level 50.
Djarum is halfway between 50 and 51.

So if you want to group with any of the old gang, you better start busting your hump to catch up with them, or plan on playing with one of their alts.

I don't know about Dragospells, but I have seen Isismagick online at least once in the last month. I was under the impression Isis is Drago's brother or roommate or something.

At lv 44 I can grp witha Lv 59.....but I guess If my play style is too lazy for others, i'll just get help when I can and play as a vagabond.

Damn, those are some leveling fools! Bast is only what, 4 months old now? emoticon

I would suggest disbanding and reforming the guild again just to clear out those old masters. Some of us were at least considerate enough to drop down to Elder before leaving... emoticon

I'd be alright with whatever you decide, Dambro.

Personally, all our friends have out-leveled me too, for the most part. I very much do not like to group with toons more than 2 levels above me. Being a tank, there is no conceivable way I can effectively hold aggro off of a level 60 anything.

So, pick-up groups are my bread-and-butter these days. Sure, most are just monotonous grind machines. But at 50, it's very rare that I find myself in a really bad group. Most are just people trying to level up to MC, so its usually fast, efficient, and... a bit sterile.
