Certainly is good to have more mid level characters in the guild.
Actually, I am not in OotSK. I did have a very respected member of the leadership ask me about it last month, and I was honestly flattered.
Qae, my relationship with OotSK is one that I treasure very much. In times past, I have argued with nearly every old-school member of the guild (Dambro, Guiness, Finin, Djarum, Disdainful). The cool thing that came from it all--to me--is the way that I could argue with these guys and then we could all move on like adults, still respecting each other as players.
I have never been mistreated by someone from OotSK, and I think the guild master is a positive role model for the community. I know he recruits only the best!
Anyway, long-winded soliloquies aside, I just wanted to make sure I can group with as many of you as is possible. If I am grouped with OotSK, I know I am getting a good person on the other side of the toon!

Re: Hello again!
Thanks for the very nice complement Ino! I would have to agree in that everyone in the Oostk is a very respectable player in the EQOA community.

Re: Hello again!
Flit, if you want to get your and Cirel's recreated VC toons reinvited into the guild... there should be several people on this evening that can get it done (if you haven't already been taken care of).

Yeah, they're in. Got the invite from Dav and Berkin (I think).
Flitter and Cirelita will be on VC tonight starting around 7:30 PST/10:30 EST.

Re: VC
Great! Kazzy wanted to go on a little "date" this evening, but we should probably be home in time for some VC fun.

Heheheh... Man, one of my best memories of EQOA will be how Finin and Flit would just go at each other. Finin was always very cynical and just plain bitter about everything, while Flit was always all mature and overly-analytical. It was like matches and gasoline. But I knew for a fact that both guys respected each other, no matter how much spit was flying.
Good times.

You know what, man, when he put Bast in Masters, everyone with rank was wtaching him closely to see if he would try to start trouble. I remember a time on a Chardith run when Bast said something in jest about someone's nationality and the person took offense.
The offended party exploded and went on a diatribe about being tired of being picked on, etc. Bast was completely apologetic and respectful, and he'd only been joking. I knew that was true, as did Cirel (the guild master). So we talked the other guy down, and I promised Bast that I would stick up for him.
That night was important to me because of the way Bast and I could work together despite the rocky past. The whole time we were in guild together, Bast was nothing but friendly and helpful.
In the end, I actually like the guy. If that guild had had more people like him, I might not have needed a 6 month break.
