Specifically I have always had the best luck in the camp by the mountains with the 2 merchants. Sorry I forgot about the other one. emoticon Yes they are kinda tough to solo. With the debuff they throw and the DS they throw on themselves occasionally they are tough for my 55 defender sometimes. If you get a good group to go out there with you you can usually pull 3 or more with no problems. I forgot to tell you that some other nice items that drop at these guys is the slime-coated stuff. You will see them holding the harpoon if they spawn with one. emoticon

It's the camp right on the coast. There is a merchant in one of the tents along with 3 villagers that spawn in the huts.

There are two camps on the coast. The camp closest to Kerra Isle has no merchant. The camp closest to the mountains in the north has 2 merchants. Is it one of these camps? Or by "on the coast" did you mean "on the river"? Am I wasting my time with scouts and guards, or should I focus solely on villagers?

All of the Tendora-Buki are light blue to dark blue to me, and seemingly all cast a pretty hefty debuff but otherwise are straight melee. I can solo, but constant roamers make adds a very serious danger. Me and a bard would probably be enough to make this constant safe XP with no downtime.

Sounds like a plan my Paladin friend.
I'll try and look ya up this weekend.

Spent last night at this camp with a full group of 53 cleric (basically stood there and cast a heal once every half-hour or so), 48 bard and 51 monk. It was a kitty slaughter. I was tanking 2-3 every pull and sometimes as many as 5 with no real danger. The bard tick was enough to keep my health full while tanking 2 at a time.

Lots of rares dropping, though most were Wyrm Wing (caster), some melee set (something-walker), and Turtle Shell (crap). Also the worst high-level rare weapon I've seen yet. Picked up a hydra slayer girdle, which has awesome Dur (80) but crap tank stats (POW:110 and FR:20).

Not a bad place to XP at all. Roamers are constantly jumping you, but being light blue or dark blue, there's very little chance of any actual danger. Pulling can be slow due to the wide range the roamers travel, but pulling 2-3 at a time helps balance that out.

The cat men's DS is quite amusing. I didn't even notice it over my own DS (from Imperial), until I saw something that looked like my DS graphic surrounding the monk and bard. The actual damage is slight. Their debuff is noticeable, but I think it is single target (ie: the tank).

The best thing about this camp, it's just plain fun. Constantly whacking on 2-3 critters at a time, no downtime (with a bard), and no real danger. The downside: stacks (necklaces and earrings) only stack to 50 (egads!). But this just means every group member gets to go home with a stack instead of just the tank.

I saw Battledancer (aka Urukai) out at the Tendora-Buki last night too. He's on the hunt for Rhino Horn items as well. Nice guy.

I think you need a better healer emoticon DDs/DOTs should be flying in that kind of camp. Or better yet, find someone with Kitten in tow emoticon

How much did it lower your damage by?
