On the subject of battlegrounds:

The only problem I had with twinks was the 10-19 bracket. It was disheartening for a new player to get repeatedly pwned by a lvl 19 rogue as a welcome to Battlegrounds.

I agree with Talon, that it seems pointless to have forced "locked xp" players out of the regular battlegrounds when you have so much going on to buff players in other ways. It seems like having twinks and non-twinks mixed would benefit everyone.

More BGs = equals more XP for non-twinks = more games for twinks. Seems like everyone wins.

I have come up against some heavily geared PvP players with Al, and I see my crits drop through the floor (32% unbuffed crit). HUGE difference between a PvP geared player and PvE player venturing into a Battleground once in a while.

On a related note, I hear that in the next patch there will be cross-battlegroup LFG tool. In other words, now you can group up for instances with people from other tealms in your battlegroup. Not quite sure how it'll work, but should definitely make it easier and faster to find groups for the lower level instances. I'll definitely be looking forward to running some of those on Boneduke...he'll need a good dusting off by then though thats for sure :-(
