Woooooo!!!!
Um. Wow. Me too maybe, but definitely my hubby. Right now I have never been so glad we have more than one ps2!! I'll probably do what I've done on the last few GT's... drive like crazy, start getting my licenses while he lets me alone for a bit, then get my butt whooped by him and give up.

But I love that game, sooooo nice to have upgrades to your car that approximate the real physics of what happens when you tweak. Teaching some of these wannabes that handling is more important than raw power alone!

Gnellie, although online play isn't available in the game, there is a program which allows your PC to link your PS2 to other PS2s running LAN capable games (GT4 does support LAN play). You can download the APP ]Here.

I hope to race you and your husband online. emoticon

:::jaw drops:::

again!

Cool, that'd be fun. With our autocrossing hobby, we play against other real people all the time, but it always involves a GT party where everyone brings their memory cards to someone's living room, and lots of beer and pizza.

Racing online via your pc must be the next best thing, I'll have to show this to "Mendoza" soon as he gets home tonight!

And I suck, but he's pretty good, so choose your level of competition wisely! We'll meet you on Trial Mountain (hope they still have that course!)

I've had a few times where some buddies and I got together with our PS2s and "firewired" them together for some network play. GT4 makes that a little easier with standard LAN support. Some of the best PS2 "LAN Parties" I've had were knock-down, drag-out battles on Armored Core.

Mmmm... Trial Mountain!! If they take it out of the game, I'll be very disappointed!!! From what I understand, there are 50+ tracks, so I can't believe any will be missing. I'm hoping some of my old favorites will return (Autumn Ring!!). I cannot wait to try Nurburgring. Can you imagine a 14 mile long course!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!

A lot of production race cars try to claim the fastest lap around the Nurburgring. Porsche just recently set a new record of under 8 minutes. That means the average speed was over 100 mph.

I've always thought of GT as a car based RPG.
You gain experience to op[en new tracks and get liscences and better mods for your cars! emoticon
